Lake Tahoe wedding photography - some old film favorites
2.21.10
I have been working on a new website and with that comes revisiting some old images. You know I have been at shooting weddings for awhile now, back when all images where captured with film. Although I still shoot film at every wedding it's only more recently that all negatives were scanned so I can share some of the old.
There will be much more to share but for tonight these a just a few that bring back memories. I shoot lots of weddings but for some reason I always remember the details, people some guests etc..... I don't know what it is but everyone makes an impact on me for sure and looking at 1 image from a past wedding, can sometimes seem like it was yesterday.
Yes my style of shooting, technology, my growth etc... makes a difference but it shows you how film IS timeless.
Now to watching some Olympics!
one of the images that was published in Modern Bride Magazine from Bethany and Marc's wedding at one of my favorite locations the Fairwinds estate
here's a couple of images from this weekend's last minute getaway. School's out, ski passes blocked and the sun is shining in the Bay! Bike riding, museums and a visit with a good friend. perfect!
here's my boy on friday. He loves crazy hair day! he could barely sit still the day before. I was surprised how tame he was this year with the no mohawk style. He had to go XC ski and he wanted to make sure he could wear a hat:)
Allo to all! I thought I would share some images from a family shoot I had in Truckee last weekend. This is a couple I had the pleasure of shooting their wedding on the Lake a few years back. It's fun to see some "old" clients and get to hang out and meet the little ones. it was snowing and he could barely keep is eyes open. What a beautiful day!
